Experiments: Photoshop Painting (Lips)

Experimental Illustration by Madeleine Allcock

Before I started working in Illustrator, I created a lot of artwork in Photoshop. I was inspired by Ludovic Jacqz and wanted to experiment in painting lips.

I have wanted to go back to using Photoshop for a while now, so this was the perfect excuse!

Digital painting in Photoshop is relaxing and satisfying to me, as intuition and sketches play a greater role in creation than concentrating on perfect vector shapes.

How do you like to work? I would be interested to hear what you think of these experiments!
